ESSKA-ESA (the shoulder section of ESSKA) is pleased to announce its new initiative: the "ESSKA-ESA Philippe Hardy Travelling Fellowship" established in memory of Prof. Philippe Hardy. A colleague and a friend who will always be remembered as a reference in shoulder surgery and academic activity in the orthopaedic's world.
The purpose of this travelling fellowship is to contribute to the development of skills of young orthopaedic surgeons who are already into shoulder surgery, namely arthroscopy and arthroplasty.

The fellowship will cover various aspects of sports, trauma and degenerative lesions of the shoulder such as arthritis, instabilities, rotator cuff and acromio-clavicular lesions.
The selected fellows will visit 5 ESSKA Accredited Teaching Centres and complete their fellowship at the ESA Closed Meeting in Athens, Greece (26-27 October 2018).
The fellowship programme will cover travel, accommodation, meals and minor expenses.
